研究目的：

主要研究目的：研究通风是否可以有效降低使用固体燃料烹饪所致的空气污染物水平，进而改善相关的心肺功能损伤，并进一步探讨可能的相关机制和通路；次要研究目的：观察取消用电补贴后受试者持续使用通风装置的通风装置情况，评价干预措施的可行性和持续性。  

Objectives of Study：

The primary objective of this study is to examine whether using ventilators could reduce exposure to air pollutants derived from cooking with solid fuels, and the cardiopulmonary benefits associated with such reduction of exposure. As a secondary objective, we will evaluate intervention effectiveness by characterizing the sustainability of ventilator usage among the intervention group during the second half of this study, when electricity was not compensated.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

在当地居住超过6个月；年龄在18-70岁之间；是该户的主要做饭者；每日使用固体燃料做饭；起居生活区与厨房分隔；可充分理解研究过程并签署知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

Having lived in the village of Mayidui for at least 6 months; aged 18-70 years; being the primary cook in the household; using solid fuel for cooking daily; having a kitchen separated from the living area; being able to fully understand the research program; having signed the informed consent.

排除标准：

计划在半年内迁出所在地；妊娠或哺乳期妇女；存在其他影响本研究评价的严重疾病如恶性肿瘤等；不能正确表达自己主诉，如患有精神病、严重神经官能症者，或因其他情况不能合作本试验者。

Exclusion criteria：

planning to move from the village within 6 months; being pregnant or in the lactation period; with severe diseases that may bias the study results (e.g., malignant tumor); not able to communicate/cooperate due to illness (e.g., mental disease or severe psychoneurosis) or any other conditions.

采用随机数字法进行随机分组：通过EXCEL软件rand()函数生成随机数字，随机数字分布的前50%定为干预组，后50%定为对照组。参试者的随机化分组由对参试者、设计不知情的非参与人员进行。

Random numbers will be generated using the 'rand()' function in Excel and sorted ascendingly. The Top 50% will be assigned to the intervention group and the bottom 50% to the control group. This randomization will be conducted by an outsider unaware of the study design and participant status.
