易损斑块(VP)破裂是心脑血管事件的重要诱因。人工智能具备处理海量数据与构建复杂模型的能力,其中深度学习(DL)在提升分类精度方面表现突出。课题组前期证实,融合多模态超声可显著增强VP识别效能。本项目拟整合临床信息、多模态超声影像与DL技术,构建多维度VP诊断模型,并通过多中心数据验证其诊断效能,探索智能化的VP辅助诊断新策略,为卒中一级预防提供精准、高效的影像学工具。 |

Objectives of Study: |
Rupture of vulnerable plaque (VP) is a major cause of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. Artificial intelligence has the capability to process massive data and construct complex models, with deep learning (DL) demonstrating outstanding performance in improving classification accuracy. Our previous research has confirmed that integrating multimodal ultrasound can significantly enhance the efficiency of VP identification. This project aims to integrate clinical information, multimodal ultrasound imaging, and DL technology to construct a multidimensional VP diagnostic model, validate its diagnostic performance through multicenter data, and explore an intelligent AI-assisted diagnostic strategy for VP, ultimately providing an accurate and efficient imaging tool for primary stroke prevention. |

Inclusion criteria |
Using the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University (Chating/Binhai/Aoti Campus) as the research center, prospectively include patients scheduled for carotid endarterectomy (CEA) or undergoing HRMRI examination. |

排除标准: |
1. 年龄<18岁; 2. 颈动脉闭塞或其他原因(如动脉夹层、大动脉炎)导致的狭窄; 3. 斑块严重钙化伴声影遮挡导致超声无法评估; 4. 严重多器官功能衰竭; 5. 急诊手术或影像/病理资料不完整。 |

Exclusion criteria: |
1. Age <18 years; 2. Carotid occlusion or stenosis caused by other conditions (e.g., arterial dissection, arteritis); 3. Severe plaque calcification with acoustic shadowing precluding ultrasound assessment; 4. Severe multiple organ failure; 5. Emergency surgery or incomplete imaging/pathological data. |
