研究目的:

本研究旨在考察严肃游戏(“AOM Adventure”)作为辅助学习工具,对提升学生给药操作表现的效果,并探索使用严肃游戏如何影响学生在给药操作学习中的学习体验。 本研究有三个目标: 1. 评估与单纯正式授课和传统模拟训练相比,“AOM Adventure”作为辅助学习工具对提升学生给药操作表现的效果。 2. 评估使用“AOM Adventure”的频率与学生表现之间的相关性。 3. 探索学生在使用“AOM Adventure”进行给药操作学习时的学习体验、学习动机、自我反思,以及促进因素和阻碍因素。  

Objectives of Study:

This study aims to examine the effect of a serious game ("AOM Adventure") as a supplementary learning tool for the enhancement of students’ performance in medication administration, and explore how the use of serious game affects the learning experiences of students in medication administration. There are three objectives: 1 To assess the effects of "AOM Adventure" as a supplementary learning tool for the improvement of students’ performance in medication administration compared with formal lectures and traditional simulation-based training alone. 2 To assess the correlation between the frequency of using "AOM Adventure" and the students’ performance. 3 To explore students’ learning experiences, motivation, self-reflection and facilitators and barriers in medication administration when using "AOM Adventure".

纳入标准:

本研究将根据以下标准采用便利抽样招募学生: 1.正在就读护理课程,包括护理学荣誉学士课程、护理学荣誉学士(应用学位名额)课程或普通登记护士高级文凭课程; 2.正在修读包含口服给药内容的护理课程,即 NUR105 护理学基础 II 或 HDE 105 护理学基础 II; 3.年龄为 18 岁或以上。

Inclusion criteria

Students will be recruited in this study by convenience sampling based on the following criteria: 1. They are studying in nursing programs including Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) Programme, Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) (Applied Degree Places) Programme or Higher Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (General); 2. They are taking the nursing course with syllabus of oral medication administration (NUR105 Fundamentals of Nursing II or HDE 105 Fundamentals of Nursing II); 3. They are aged 18 years old or above.

排除标准:

如果学生在学习给药操作时曾有使用严肃游戏的既往经验,则将被排除出本研究。

Exclusion criteria:

Students will be excluded from the study if they have prior experience of using serious games when they learnt medication administration.

在正式的讲座和有关药物管理技能的实践技能讲习班之后,参与者将获得登录凭证,可以在智能手机或平板电脑上下载应用程序(Pacific Meta),并可以在实践考试前通过“AOM冒险”和自我练习课程练习技能
