本研究旨在构建并验证“AI驱动的虚拟标准化病人(AI-VSP)联合问题导向学习(PBL)”教学模式在口腔医学本科生牙体牙髓病学教学中的应用效果,探索该模式对学生临床能力及学业成效的提升作用。  

Objectives of Study:

This study aims to develop and validate the effectiveness of the ‘AI-driven Virtual Standardised Patient (AI-VSP) combined with Problem-Based Learning (PBL)’ teaching model in the instruction of endodontics for undergraduate dental students, and to investigate the model’s impact on enhancing students’ clinical skills and academic performance.

纳入标准:

1. 广州医科大学口腔医学专业四年级本科生; 2. 已完成牙体牙髓病学基础理论课程学习; 3. 自愿参加研究并签署知情同意书。 4. 前期未参与过同类教学改革研究。

Inclusion criteria

1. A fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Stomatology at Guangzhou Medical University; 2. Have completed the study of the basic theory course of endodontics and cariology; 3. Voluntarily participate in the research and sign the informed consent form. 4. Has not participated in similar teaching reform research in the early stage.

排除标准:

1. 曾系统学习过相关内容,可能影响教学效果评估者; 2. 未完整参加全部 4 次结构化 PBL 课程者; 3. 因个人原因中途退出研究者。

Exclusion criteria:

1. Those who have systematically studied relevant content and may affect the assessment of teaching effectiveness; 2. Those who have not fully participated in all four structured PBL courses; 3. Quit the researcher halfway due to personal reasons.
