Objectives of Study: |
1. Analyse and compare differences in proximal femoral geometric parameters between patients with femoral neck fractures and intertrochanteric fractures. 2. Identify key femoral geometric parameters and clinical risk factors significantly associated with hip fractures. 3. Develop and validate a machine learning-based hip fracture risk prediction model (combining CNN image feature extraction with ensemble learning algorithms) suitable for the elderly Chinese population. |

纳入标准: |
1、 年龄 ≥ 65周岁。 2、 经影像学(X线或CT)确诊为初次、单侧、低能量创伤导致的股骨颈骨折或股骨粗隆间骨折。 3、 在本院接受手术治疗。 4、 拥有完整的术前髋部影像资料(DICOM格式)及可获取的临床病历记录。 |

Inclusion criteria |
1. Age >= 65 years. 2. Diagnosed by imaging (X-ray or CT) as an initial, unilateral, low-energy trauma-induced femoral neck fracture or intertrochanteric fracture. 3. Undergoing surgical treatment at this hospital. 4. Possession of complete preoperative hip imaging data (DICOM format) and accessible clinical medical records. |

排除标准: |
1、 因高能量损伤(如交通事故、高处坠落)导致的骨折。 2、 患有严重影响骨代谢的疾病(如甲状旁腺功能亢进症、Paget‘s病、骨肿瘤等)。 3、 长期使用(研究前6个月以上)影响骨代谢的药物(如糖皮质激素、双膦酸盐、SERMs、特立帕肽等)。 4、 发生双侧髋部骨折。 5、 影像质量差,关键解剖结构无法辨识或测量。 |

Exclusion criteria: |
1. Fractures resulting from high-energy trauma (e.g., road traffic accidents, falls from height). 2. Conditions severely affecting bone metabolism (e.g., hyperparathyroidism, Paget's disease, bone tumours). 3. Long-term use (over 6 months prior to study) of medications affecting bone metabolism (e.g., glucocorticoids, bisphosphonates, SERMs, teriparatide). 4. Occurrence of bilateral hip fractures. 5. Poor imaging quality rendering key anatomical structures unidentifiable or unmeasurable. |
