Objectives of Study：

Observing the Effect of Thiamine on the Incidence of Postoperative Delirium in Elderly Patients Undergoing Major Abdominal Surgery

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

1.年龄 >= 70 周岁，性别不限； 2.拟接受腹部大手术患者（接受涉及胃肠道的大型择期手术，预计手术时间超过 90 分钟。手术类别包括结肠、直肠或小肠切除术；胰腺和肠切除术；胃切除术（非肥胖症手术）；食道切除术（非肥胖症手术）；肥胖症手术；以及其他涉及肠道切除的手术。

Inclusion criteria

1. Age >= 70 years, any gender; 2. Patients planning to undergo major abdominal surgery (elective major surgery involving the gastrointestinal tract, with an expected duration of more than 90 minutes. Surgery types include colonic, rectal, or small intestine resections; pancreatic and intestinal resections; gastrectomy (non-obesity surgery); esophagectomy (non-obesity surgery); obesity surgery; and other surgeries involving intestinal resection).

排除标准：

1.易过敏体质或者已知对硫胺素过敏； 2.既往有韦尼克脑病、酒精依赖史或长期服用硫胺素补充剂者； 3.术前已有严重痴呆或精神疾病史者； 4.术前筛查已经出现认知损伤的病人（蒙特利尔量表评分低于 26 分）； 5.视力、听力障碍及交流困难者； 6.严重心血管疾病或肝肾功能严重不全者。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Individuals prone to allergies or known to be allergic to thiamine; 2. Those with a history of Wernicke’s encephalopathy, alcohol dependence, or long-term thiamine supplementation; 3. Those with severe dementia or a history of mental illness before surgery; 4. Patients who already show cognitive impairment in preoperative screening (Montreal Cognitive Assessment score below 26); 5. Those with vision, hearing impairments, or communication difficulties; 6. Those with severe cardiovascular disease or severe liver and kidney dysfunction.
