Objectives of Study: |
This study aimed to develop and validate a brief intervention strategy for caregivers of children with atopic dermatitis, grounded in the Knowledge–Attitude–Practice (KAP) theory and tailored to the characteristics of outpatient settings. The strategy seeks to enhance caregivers’ knowledge and attitudes toward skin care, as well as their adherence to home-based care, and to explore a feasible, scalable pathway within healthcare institutions in the Chinese context that can be implemented in outpatient clinics to improve children’s symptoms and quality of life. |

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture: |
This study primarily involves electronic data, which employs encryption measures during transmission and static storage, and the database implements backup management. Access permissions are granted based on role levels, and only approved personnel can view identification information. The retention period for data is at least 10 years, after which electronic data is securely erased according to institutional destruction procedures and destruction logs are recorded. If a participant withdraws consent, the research team will stop collecting further data from them, and the retention or deletion of existing data will be carried out in accordance with the informed consent form and the requirements of the ethics committee. |
