目标 1:探究膝关节和髋部肌肉在神经学和形态学上的关联关于老年人在步态平衡控制方面的研究。 目标 2:探究超声视觉反馈与神经生理活动之间的关联老年人群的运动学习能力。 目标 3:探究平衡改善背后的神经生物学机制由单次扰动式训练(PBT)方法在老年人身上引发的效应。  

Objectives of Study:

Objective1: To investigate the neurological and morphological association of knee and hip muscles in gait balance control in older adults. Objective2: To investigate the neurophysiological association of ultrasound visual feedback in motor learning in older adults. Objective3: To investigate the underlying neurobiological mechanisms of balance improvement induced by single session Perturbation-based Training (PBT) in older adults.

超声与肌电以及脑氧检测 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail:

Ultrasound, EMG, fNIRS assessment 

纳入标准:

本研究的纳入标准包括:(1) 年龄≥65岁(2) 根据《面向老年人的跌倒预防与管理世界指南》中的流程图,招募处于高跌倒风险及低跌倒风险的老年人;(3) 能够独立前往实验室且无需任何协助;以及(4) 无认知障碍,这可通过蒙特利尔认知评估香港版 (HK-MoCA) 进行衡量。

Inclusion criteria

1. aged >= 65; 2. recruit older adults at high risk and low risk of falls according to the flow chart from the World Guidelines for Falls Prevention and Management for Older Adults; 3. able to independently travel to the laboratory without any assistance; 4. no cognitive impairment as measured by the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Hong Kong Version (HK-MoCA).

排除标准:

(1) 患有糖尿病、前庭功能紊乱、心脏病、严重骨质疏松症以及曾有过中风病史等可能影响平衡并限制身体活动的疾病;(2) 目前正经历未愈的跌倒损伤、在过去一年内接受过手术但尚未完全康复,或目前居住在需接受监测治疗医院中的情况;(3) 过去半年内曾参与过任何有组织的运动或强化训练项目。

Exclusion criteria:

1. having conditions such as diabetes, vestibular disorders, heart diseases, severe osteoporosis, and a history of stroke that may affect balance and limit physical activities; 2. currently experiencing unresolved injuries from a fall, having undergone surgery within the past year without full recovery, or currently residing in a hospital requiring monitored treatment; 3. having participated in any structured exercise or strengthening regimen within the past half year.
