Objectives of Study:

To explore the effect, efficacy, and value of scenario-based medical simulation training on clinical communication skills of standardized training of psychiatric residents.

纳入标准:

1.正在上海市精神卫生中心接受第二阶段或第三阶段住院医师规范化培训的医师。 2.年龄、性别不限; 3.具备足够的汉语听、说、读、写能力,能够理解研究流程、参与模拟教学并完成相关评估。 4.自愿参加本研究,并签署书面的知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

1. Physicians who are currently undergoing the second or third stage of the standardized training for resident physicians at Shanghai Mental Health Center. 2. Age and gender are not restricted. 3. Possess sufficient abilities in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese, and be able to understand the research process, participate in simulated teaching and complete related evaluations. 4. Voluntarily participate in this study and sign a written informed consent form.

排除标准:

1.在计划的研究干预期间(如未来5周内),有超过1周的已知离院计划(如休假、外出进修、轮转至其他非研究基地),可能影响其全程参与。 2.既往有明确诊断的严重认知功能障碍、或任何可能显著影响其沟通、学习或评估的神经精神疾病(例如,中度至重度痴呆、失语症、精神发育迟滞等)。 3.在研究入组前1个月内,经历过重大的负性生活事件(如亲属亡故、严重意外等),经研究者判断其当前情绪状态不稳定,不适合参与教学研究。 4.研究者认为存在任何其他严重或不稳定的医疗、心理或社会状况,参与本研究可能对其不利,或影响其对研究方案的依从性及研究数据的有效性。

Exclusion criteria:

1. During the planned research intervention period (within the next 5 weeks), there were more than one week of known discharge plans (such as leave of absence, overseas training, rotation to other non-research bases), which might affect their full participation. 2. There was a clear diagnosis of severe cognitive impairment in the past, or any neuro-psychiatric disorder that might significantly affect their communication, learning or assessment (such as moderate to severe dementia, aphasia, mental retardation, etc.). 3. Within one month before the research enrollment, they had experienced major negative life events (such as the death of a relative, serious accidents, etc.), and the researcher judged that their current emotional state was unstable and they were not suitable to participate in the teaching research. 4. The researcher believes that there are any other serious or unstable medical, psychological or social conditions that may be detrimental to their participation in this research, or may affect their compliance with the research protocol and the validity of the research data.

采用分层随机化,根据年资将参与者分为2层:第二阶段和第三阶段,再采用简单随机化在层内将参与者分为两组:临床沟通情境模拟培训组和常规教学活动组。随机序列由独立统计人员使用计算机随机数生成器生成。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method):

A stratified randomization method was employed, with participants divided into two strata based on their seniority: the second stage and the third stage. Then, simple randomization was used within each stratum to divide the participants into two groups: the clinical communication scenario simulation training group and the conventional teaching activity group. The random sequence was generated by an independent statistician using a computer random number generator.
