Objectives of Study：

1.This study aims to conduct a pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and potential benefits of an online NVC training program, based on our groundwork on NVC (Cheung et al., 2022; Fung et al., 2023); 2.In terms of feasibility, we will examine the time required to recruit sufficient participants and the retention rate; 3.In terms of acceptability, we will examine the attendance rate and participants’ levels of satisfaction with the program; 4.In terms of potential benefits, we will examine whether participants in the experimental group would have significantly greater improvements in measures of NVC behaviors, aggressive behaviors, self-compassion, and communication competence than the control group.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

This is a nonclinical study. Participants should be a Chinese-Cantonese-speaking college student (from associate degree to doctoral degree) in Hong Kong, be aged 18 or above, agree to provide online informed consent and participate in this study, have access to the Internet.

Inclusion criteria

This is a nonclinical study. Participants should be a Chinese-Cantonese-speaking college student (from associate degree to doctoral degree) in Hong Kong, be aged 18 or above, agree to provide online informed consent and participate in this study, have access to the Internet.

排除标准：

1.Have an official diagnosis of any psychotic disorder, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder; 2.Score 15 or above on the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) or indicate any suicidal thoughts on the 9th item of the PHQ-9; 3.Have received formal NVC training for at least 6 hours in the past.

Exclusion criteria：
