本研究旨在为香港大学住宿生制定一个减少酒精危害的项目，并评估全面干预措施与简化干预措施的有效性。  

Objectives of Study：

This study aimed to develop an alcohol harm reduction program for university hostel residents in Hong Kong and evaluate the effectiveness of full interventions compared to partial interventions versus non-intervention dormitories

纳入标准：

1. 入住香港中文大学及香港理工大学校园宿舍的本科生及研究生； 2. 年龄介于18至25岁之间，代表饮酒新手及无经验者。

Inclusion criteria

1.undergraduate and post-graduate students residing in an on-campus residence halls of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University; 2.Between the ages of 18-25 to represent novice and non-experienced drinkers.

排除标准：

1.外国交换生；2.特殊身份学生，年龄可能超出本科生/研究生的正常年龄；3.由于健康讲座将以当地语言进行，无法听懂普通粤语的学生

Exclusion criteria：

1.Foreign exchange students; 2.special status students who may be beyond the normative age of undergraduate/postgraduate students; 3.Students who cannot understand colloquial Cantonese since health talks will be conducted in the local language

随机过程为每个宿舍分配了一个随机数，该随机数被输入到一个软件程序中，在每个大学校园中随机选择一个全干预宿舍和一个部分干预宿舍。如果被选中的宿舍管理部门拒绝参与，则生成另一个号码。其余符合纳入标准的宿舍作为对照样本。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method)：

Randomization was conducted by assigning a random number to each dormitory, which was input into a software program to randomly select one full-intervention dormitory and one partial-intervention dormitory in each university campus. If the selected dormitory administration refused to participate, another number was generated. The rest of the eligible hostels served as the reference sample.
