Objectives of Study:

1.Design a teaching model of Doctor-Patient Communication and Skills integrated with the WeChat platform and scenario simulation, and formulate a standardized teaching process. 2.Establish a multi-dimensional teaching effectiveness evaluation system to scientifically verify the model's effectiveness in improving students' communication skills, learning interest, and knowledge mastery. 3.Provide promotable practical solutions and theoretical foundations for the teaching reform of doctor-patient communication courses in the field of medical education.

纳入标准:

电子科技大学医学院选修《医患沟通与技巧》课程的本科生且自愿参与研究并签署知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

Undergraduate students who have enrolled in the Doctor-Patient Communication and Skills course at the School of Medicine, University of Electronic Science and Technology, and voluntarily participate in the research and sign the informed consent form.

排除标准:

1.未选修《医患沟通与技巧》课程的学生; 2.患有精神疾病或沟通障碍,无法正常参与教学活动的学生; 3.拒绝签署知情同意书的学生。

Exclusion criteria:

1. Students who have not enrolled in the Doctor-Patient Communication and Skills course; 2. Students with mental illnesses or communication disorders that prevent them from participating in teaching activities normally; 3. Students who refuse to sign the informed consent form.

本研究将采用计算机随机数生成器(如 Excel 随机函数、SPSS 统计软件等)产生随机序列,由独立于研究执行团队的第三方统计人员完成操作。具体流程为:在研究开始前,统计人员根据计划样本量(64 人)生成随机分组代码(1-64 号),并将代码按奇偶分配至实验组(奇数)和对照组(偶数)。分组结果密封保存,直至受试者完成基线资料收集后,由研究者拆封执行分组。此过程确保随机序列的产生与分组实施相分离,避免人为偏倚。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method):

This study will use a computer random number generator (such as Excel random function, SPSS statistical software, etc.) to generate random sequences, operated by a third-party statistician independent of the research execution team. The specific process is as follows: Before the study begins, the statistician will generate random grouping codes (No. 1-64) based on the planned sample size (64 participants) and allocate the codes to the experimental group (odd numbers) and control group (even numbers) according to odd-even parity. The grouping results will be sealed and stored until the baseline data collection of participants is completed, after which the researcher will unseal and implement the grouping. This process ensures the separation of random sequence generation from grouping implementation to avoid human bias.

本研究未采用盲法。由于实验组需使用微信平台及情景模拟教学,对照组采用传统教学,两种干预方式差异显著,受试者、授课者及结局评估者均无法隐瞒分组信息。研究通过以下方式控制偏倚:随机分组由独立第三方完成并密封,确保分组随机性; 采用标准化量表(如《医患沟通技能评估表》)和客观测试题进行结局评价;数据统计分析由不参与教学的人员执行。

Blinding:

No blinding was applied in this study. Due to the substantial differences between the experimental group (WeChat-based platform and scenario simulation) and the control group (traditional teaching), participants, instructors, and outcome assessors could not be masked to group assignments. Bias was mitigated through:Randomization conducted and sealed by an independent third party to ensure unbiased group allocation;Use of standardized scales (e.g., Doctor-Patient Communication Skills Assessment Scale) and objective tests for outcome measurement;Data analysis performed by personnel not involved in the teaching intervention.
