Funding for this study came from the horizontal commission project (51000-74010004). In addition, some research resources will be provided by The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (Nansha Division), including the development and maintenance of an intelligent management information system for chronic neck pain, clinical training and quality control. The research team will also collaborate with School of Public Health of Sun Yat-sen University to secure funding for data analysis and publication.

研究目的：

1. 量化评估弹力带颈椎稳定锻炼对慢性颈痛患者疼痛强度的改善效果。 2. 分析运动疗法对患者颈部功能和生活质量的影响。 3. 探索弹力带颈椎稳定锻炼在颈痛管理中的可行性和依从性。 4. 探讨与颈痛相关的风险因素，包括不良姿势、久坐时间和心理压力等。 5. 探索数字化健康行为干预（如短信提醒、移动应用）在提高运动疗法依从性中的作用。  

Objectives of Study：

1. To quantitative evaluate the effect of cervical stability exercises with elastic band on pain intensity in patients with chronic neck pain. 2. To analyze the effect of exercise therapy on neck function and quality of life. 3. To explore the feasibility and adherence of cervical stability exercises with elastic band in the management of neck pain. 4. To explore the risk factors associated with neck pain, including poor posture, sedentary time, psychological stress and so on. 5. To explore the role of digital health behavior interventions (e.g. SMS alerts, mobile apps) in improving exercise therapy adherence.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

1. 研究对象为在相关事业单位和企业中患有颈部慢性疼痛的职工，年龄在20-60岁之间。 2. 通过视觉模拟量表（VAS），疼痛强度为3＜VAS＜8（10分），病程超过3个月。 3. 参与者需自愿加入研究，并签署书面知情同意书，愿意接受相关数据收集。

Inclusion criteria

1. The participants were workers with chronic neck pain in related institutions and enterprises, whose age range among 20-60 years old. 2. Pain intensity was 3 < VAS < 8(on a 10-point scale) by visual analogue scale (VAS) and disease duration was over 3 months. 3. Participants were required to voluntarily participate in the study and sign a written informed consent to accept the data collection.

排除标准：

1. 有颈椎手术或创伤史（例如，挥鞭伤、骨折和脱位）。 2. 确诊为神经根型或脊髓型颈椎病、胸廓出口综合征等（查体时发现肌节肌力、感觉或反射减退/既往诊断）。 3. 患有重度心血管疾病、风湿性关节炎、肿瘤等重大疾病的患者。 4. 服用止痛药、接受过注射治疗等、或在过去6个月内参加过颈部或肩部康复治疗。 5. 严重的急性颈部疼痛（VAS≥8）、活动障碍（NDI＞60%）等无法继续运动干预的个体。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Had a history of cervical spine surgery or trauma (e.g., Whiplash injuries, fracture and dislocation). 2. Diagnosed as cervical spondylotic myelopathy or cervical radiculopathy, thoracic outlet syndrome, etc. (Loss of sarcomere strength, sensation, or reflexes on physical examination/previous diagnosis). 3. Patients with major diseases such as cardiovascular disease, Rheumatoid arthritis and cancer. 4. Had pain medication, injections, or rehabilitation of the neck or shoulder in the past 6 months. 5. Individuals with severe acute neck pain (VAS ≥8), impaired mobility (NDI > 60%) were unable to continue exercise intervention.
