研究目的：

本项目提出的线上网络社交戒烟干预包含三个循证构件：1）提高戒烟者的感知朋辈支持，2）通过积极心理学干预改善积极情感，3）通过网络社交媒体基于即时的预防性行动线索。本项目的随机对照试验将评价上述持续2个月的新型线上戒烟干预对提高中国香港成人吸烟者在随访6个月内7天点戒烟率的效果。  

Objectives of Study：

The proposed online social networking cessation intervention involves three evidence-based components: i) involving and enhancing social (peer) support toward smoking cessation, ii) improving positive affect through positive psychology intervention (PPI), and iii) providing immediate preventive cue of action to smokers through online social networking. The proposed RCT evaluates the efficacy of the aforementioned novel 2-month online smoking cessation intervention in increasing 7-day point prevalence quit rate over a 6-month follow-up period among Chinese adult smokers in Hong Kong.

纳入标准：

1.在基线调查前过去7天至少吸过一根卷烟的最近吸烟者； 2.年龄在18岁或以上； 3.可以用中文（粤语）交流； 4.可以使用智能手机/移动电子设备和社交网络媒体（微信）； 5.愿意在干预后的第3、6个月进行随访。

Inclusion criteria

1. current smokers who have smoked at least one cigarette in the past seven days prior to the baseline survey, 2. age 18 years old or above, 3. able to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese), 4. having access to a smart phone or mobile electronic devices and social networking media (WeChat), 5. willing to be followed up (Months 3 and 6).

排除标准：

1.身体或心理不适； 2.在过去6个月参加过戒烟干预。

Exclusion criteria：

1. physically or mentally unfit, and 2. having participated in smoking cessation programs (last six months)
