本研究旨在以湘西地区为模型开发一个有效缓解农村老年人抑郁症状的D-MBAT项目。  

Objectives of Study：

This project aims to develop an effective D-MBAT program for?alleviating depressive symptoms among rural older adults, taking Western Hunan as?a model.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

纳入标准：

1. 年龄在60~80岁之间； 2. 伴有抑郁症状（GDS-30得分在11 ~ 25分之间）； 3. 在当地居住时间≥2年； 4. 具有独立使用智能手机的能力； 5. 能够使用普通话进行沟通。

Inclusion criteria

The participants will be invited to participate in this study if they meet the following inclusion criteria: (i) the age is between 60 and 80; (ii) with depressive symptoms (Geriatric Depression Scale scores between 11 and 25); (iii) live in the research counties for at least two years; (ⅳ) be able to use mobile phones independently; (v) be able to communicate in Mandarin.

排除标准：

1. 患有痴呆症； 2. 患有双相情感障碍、精神障碍、物质误用等精神疾病； 3. 患有认知功能障碍或交流障碍； 4. 过去8周内服用过抗抑郁药物； 5. 正在参与心理治疗。

Exclusion criteria：

The exclusion criteria are as follows: (i) with probable dementia; (ii) with bipolar disorder, psychotic disorder, substance misuse and other mental diseases; (iii) with cognitive dysfunction or communication impairment; (ⅳ) antidepressant medication intake within the past 8 weeks; (v) current participation in psychotherapy.

本研究计划由接受过培训认证的基层医务人员严格参照纳排标准筛选符合参与条件的农村老年人。每周从花垣县和凤凰县分别招募20至24名研究参与者，按1:1的比例进行区组随机化，每10个区组包含4个和6个不同的子区组。不参与研究的研究助理通过在线随机化网站生成随机序列。一张表明随机分组的卡片（1，干预组；2，对照组）将由另一名研究助理放入按顺序编号的不透明密封信封中。根据参与研究的顺序，每位参与者将获得一个信封。抽到标注1卡片的农村老年人被纳入干预组，抽到标注2卡片的农村老年人被纳入对照组。最终共招募216名参与者，干预组和对照组参与者均为108名。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method)：

According to the admission standards, primary medical staffs who receive training and certification will strictly screen rural elderly people who meet the participation conditions. Recruit 20 to 24 participants every week from township clinics in Huayuan County and Fenghuang County, and randomize the blocks according to the ratio of 1:1. Each 10 blocks contains 4 and 6 different sub-blocks. Research assistants who don't participate in the study generate randomized sequences through online randomized websites. A card indicating random grouping (1, the intervention group; 2, the control group) will be put into opaque sealed envelopes numbered in sequence by another research assistant. According to the order of participating in the study, each participant will get an envelope. The rural elderly who draw the card labeled 1 will be included in the intervention group, and the rural elderly who draw the card labeled 2 will be included in the control group. In the end, a total of 216 participants are recruited, with 108 participants in the intervention group and the control group individually.

Blinding：

Participants in the study are aware of the interventions they are receiving. Primary medical staffs who carry out the intervention are separately informed of the nature of the intervention and don't know each other's distribution. The primary medical staffs responsible for evaluating the outcome indicators are unaware of the nature of the participants. At the same time, the primary medical staffs responsible for data collection and analysis and data statisticians don't participate in the research plan and don't know the specific group distribution.

数据采集和管理（说明：数据采集和管理由两部分组成，一为病例记录表(Case Record Form, CRF)，二为电子采集和管理系统(Electronic Data Capture, EDC)，如ResMan即为一种基于互联网的EDC：

数据采集和管理均为电子版记录。参与者的个人信息将严格保密，只有研究领导者才能访问完整的合并数据集；评估人员将只能访问数据集的一部分。在导出之前，所有识别信息都将被加密，统计学家将收到最终的匿名数据集。所有访问数据的研究人员都将签署一份保证机密性的文件。

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture：

Data collection and management are recorded electronically. Participants' personal information will be kept strictly confidential and will not compromise their privacy. Only the research leaders will have access to the complete merged data-set; the evaluators will have access only to part of the data-set. Before exporting, all identifying information will be stripped out and encrypted, and the statistician will receive the final anonymized data-set. A document guaranteeing confidentiality will be signed by all researchers accessing the data.
