Objectives of Study：

To study the effect of denture adhesive on the stability of removable denture and the quality of life in elderly people

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

1）自愿参加研究并签署知情同意书的受试者； 2）年龄在60至90周岁之间； 3）身体一般状况及心理健康良好，无精神疾病、颞下颌关节疾病、口腔黏膜疾病及危重的全身疾病； 4）病史或口腔检查无可能影响研究方案及结果的明显异常； 5）遵循研究程序和要求，能够配合研究方案进行及随访，具有良好依从性的受试者； 6）口腔中佩戴全口/上颌半口义齿，口内义齿佩戴合适无明显缺陷或不适（活动义齿基线Kapur指数＞6），既往未曾使用过活动义齿稳固剂；

Inclusion criteria

1) Subjects who voluntarily participate in the study and sign the informed consent; 2) aged between 60 and 90 years old; 3) The general physical condition and mental health are good, and there are no mental diseases, temporomandibular joint diseases, oral mucosal diseases and critical systemic diseases; 4) There is no obvious abnormality in medical history or oral examination that may affect the research plan and results;5) Subjects who follow the research procedures and requirements, can cooperate with the research plan and follow up, and have good compliance;6) Full/maxillary partial dentures are worn in the mouth, and the dentures in the mouth are suitable without obvious defects or discomfort (the baseline Kapur index of removable dentures is greater than 6), and no removable denture stabilizer has been used before;

排除标准：

1）体内植入心脏起搏器； 2）长期服用可能干扰研究方案或结果的药物（由研究者确定）； 3）胰岛素依赖型糖尿病患者； 4）服用或曾服用治疗骨质疏松症的双磷酸盐药物； 5）严重的慢性疾病或放/化疗术后，需要住院治疗； 6）已知或怀疑对义齿/义齿稳固剂中相关化学成分与材料过敏； 7）正在参与其他可能影响研究方案进行及结果的临床研究； 8）近期（1年内）大量饮酒史或其他药物滥用； 9）存在听力、语言或行动障碍者

Exclusion criteria：

1) Implantation of a pacemaker in the body; 2) Long-term administration of drugs that may interfere with the study protocol or results (determined by the investigator); 3) Patients with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus; 4) Taking or having taken bisphosphonate drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis; 5) Severe chronic diseases or postoperative radiotherapy/chemotherapy requiring hospitalization; 6) Known or suspected allergy to the relevant chemical components and materials in dentures/denture stabilizers; 7) Participating in other clinical studies that may affect the conduct and results of the research protocol; 8) Recent (within 1 year) history of heavy alcohol consumption or other drug abuse; 9) Those with hearing, speech or mobility impairments

每日晨起，清洁并干燥义齿基托组织面，分别放置绿豆大小的义齿稳固剂（1.00g+/-0.05g）于上颌义齿的双侧前磨牙区、硬腭中份，下颌义齿的双侧前磨牙区；将义齿戴入口中，义齿就位后 用手加压 5-10s，于正中关系位反复咬合，5min 后正常进食，每日坚持戴用12h，至晚间用水漱口，轻摇义齿并取下，清洁干净后浸泡于凉水中。

Intervention：

Every morning, clean and dry the tissue surface of denture base, and place a mung bean-sized denture stabilizer (1.00g+/-0.05g) on the bilateral premolar area of maxillary denture, the middle part of hard palate and the bilateral premolar area of mandibular denture respectively. Put the denture in your mouth, press it by hand for 5-10s after it is in place, bite it repeatedly in the middle position, eat normally after 5min, wear it for 12h every day, rinse your mouth with water at night, gently shake the denture and take it off, clean it and soak it in cold water.

对照组不使用义齿稳固剂，余义齿清洁及佩戴习惯与实验组相同。每日晨起，清洁并干燥义齿基托组织面，将义齿戴入口中，义齿就位后 用手加压 5-10s，于正中关系位反复咬合，5min 后正常进食，每日坚持戴用12h，至晚间用水漱口，轻摇义齿并取下，清洁干净后浸泡于凉水中。

Intervention：

The control group did not use denture stabilizer, and the cleaning and wearing habits of the remaining dentures were the same as those of the experimental group. Every morning, clean and dry the tissue surface of denture base, put the denture into the mouth, press it by hand for 5-10s after the denture is in place, bite it repeatedly in the middle position, eat normally after 5min, wear it for 12h every day, rinse your mouth with water at night, gently shake the denture and take it off, and soak it in cold water after cleaning.

Prepare a sealed envelope that is coded in sequence and opaque, and randomly put the group number into the envelope and seal it. The envelopes were numbered according to the order in which patients were selected and given corresponding numbers, and were grouped according to the grouping scheme in the envelopes.
