研究目的：

我们拟在进一步的研究探索，将深度学习技术联合应用在 ME-NBI 内镜图像与病理图像的大数据，创建基于深度学习的计算机辅助诊断模型。基于目前研究阶段性成果，我们有信心进一步建立ME-NBI 内镜图像与病理图像联合的深度学习系统，辅助内镜医生更好的实现“光学活检”，更精准的诊断早期胃癌和癌前病变。  

Objectives of Study：

In the future study, we intend to apply deep learning technology to the big data of ME-NBI endoscopic images and pathological images to create a computer-aided diagnosis model based on deep learning. Based on the current research results, we are confident to further establish a deep learning system combining ME-NBI endoscopic images and pathological images to assist endoscosters to better realize "optical biopsy" and more accurately diagnose early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions

纳入标准：

入选本研究的合格受试者必须符合以下所有标准： 1. ME-NBI 内镜检查观察到胃黏膜浅表病变的患者 2. 病理确诊为早期胃癌（包括高级别上皮内瘤变）、低级别上皮内瘤变、肠上皮化生或慢性胃炎 3. ME-NBI 图像包含完整的病灶 4.具有完整的病理图像

Inclusion criteria

Eligible subjects to be included in this study had to meet all of the following criteria: 1. Patients with superficial gastric mucosal lesions on ME-NBI endoscopy 2. Early gastric cancer (including high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia) confirmed by pathology), low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, intestinal metaplasia, or chronic gastritis 3. ME-NBI images contained intact lesions 4. Have complete pathological images

排除标准：

满足下列任一标准的受试者不具备入选本研究的资格。 1. 缺乏 ME-NBI 图像对应的病理图像 2. ME-NBI 图像质量差，如失焦、出血、粘液附着等。 3. 食管病变及十二指肠病变。

Exclusion criteria：

Subjects who met any of the following criteria were not eligible for inclusion in this study. 1. Lack of pathological images corresponding to ME-NBI images 2. The image quality of ME-NBI was poor, such as out of focus, bleeding, mucus attachment, etc. 3. Esophageal and duodenal lesions.

Gold Standard or Reference Standard (The clinical reference standards required to establish the presence or absence of the target condition in the tested population in present study):

Patients with pathological diagnosis of early gastric cancer (including high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia), low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, intestinal metaplasia,and chronic gastritis.

完成研究的标准：研究者纳入足够的样本量，建立人工智能辅助诊断系统，并验证其具有良好的诊断效果。 1、收集与早期胃癌与癌前病变的ME-NBI图像，并收集匹配的病理图像，建立ME-NBI内镜和病理图像数据库。 2、建立人工智能辅助诊断系统，实现辅助ME-NBI诊断早期胃癌及其癌前病变病灶，并描绘出病灶边缘，同时判断癌前病变患者是否为胃癌高风险人群。

Index test:

Criteria for the completion of the study: researchers include sufficient sample size, establish an AI-assisted diagnostic system, and verify that it has good diagnostic effects. 1. ME-NBI images of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions were collected, and matched pathological images were collected to establish a database of ME-NBI endoscopy and pathological images. 2. Establish an AI-assisted diagnosis system to assist ME-NBI in diagnosing early gastric cancer and its precancerous lesions, delineate the edges of the lesions, and determine whether patients with precancerous lesions are high-risk groups for gastric cancer.

Patients with superficial gastric mucosal lesions observed by ME-NBI endoscopy were diagnosed as early gastric cancer (including high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia), low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, intestinal metaplasia, or chronic gastritis according to the pathological gold standard.
