本研究通过科学的随机对照试验评估电针在辅助超声龈上洁治术治疗牙周炎时减轻术中不适的有效性与安全性。研究将探讨电针作为非药物疼痛管理的优势，旨在为其在减轻洁治术不适提供科学依据，并推广这种有效的临床干预，以改善患者口腔健康。  

Objectives of Study：

This study assesses the effectiveness and safety of electroacupuncture in reducing discomfort during ultrasonic supragingival scaling for periodontitis through a rigorous randomized controlled trial. It aims to provide scientific evidence for electroacupuncture as a non-pharmacological pain management method, promoting its clinical use to improve patient oral health.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

①年龄在18-60岁； ②符合2018年6月正式发表在美国牙周学会主办的牙周病学杂志(Journal of Periodontology)和欧洲牙周联盟主办的临床牙周病学杂志(Journal of Clinical Periodontology)特刊上牙周病学新分类原则的牙周炎及《中医病证诊断疗效标准》中“牙宣”的诊断标准，近６个月未接受牙周相关治疗，计划在特定时间内接受超声龈上洁治术； ③全牙列每区至少有２颗功能牙； ④过去６个月未服用免疫抑制剂类药物及抗生素； ⑤无糖尿病、高血压、肝肾功能异常等系统性疾病； ⑥无吸烟及酗酒史； ⑦自愿参加本试验，能按时参加试验复查并能完成整个试验步骤，能理解各项量表条文并完成评定，同意签署书面知情同意书及提供个人病史。

Inclusion criteria

①Age between 18-60 years; ②In accordance with the new classification principles of periodontitis, officially published in June 2018 in the special issues of the Journal of Periodontology, hosted by the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Journal of Clinical Periodontology, hosted by the European Federation of Periodontology, as well as the diagnostic criteria for "Ya Xuan" in the "Standards for Diagnosis and Efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diseases," and has not received periodontal treatment in the past six months, planning to undergo ultrasonic supragingival scaling within a specific timeframe; ③At least two functional teeth per quadrant in full dentition; ④No immunosuppressants or antibiotics taken in the past six months; ⑤No systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, or liver/kidney dysfunction; ⑥No history of smoking or alcohol abuse; ⑦Willing to voluntarily participate in the trial, able to attend scheduled follow-up visits, complete all trial steps, understand and complete assessments on various scales, and agree to sign a written informed consent form and provide a personal medical history.

排除标准：

①凝血功能障碍者； ②免疫功能不全者； ③月经期、孕妇或哺乳期妇女； ④存在严重口腔畸形或无法进行牙周洁治术的受试者； ⑤合并其他感染性疾病； ⑥严重排斥针刺治疗的受试者。

Exclusion criteria：

①Individuals with coagulation disorders; ②Those with immunodeficiency; ③Women during menstruation, pregnancy, or lactation; ④Participants with severe oral deformities or unable to undergo periodontal cleaning; ⑤Individuals with other infectious diseases; ⑥Participants with a strong aversion to acupuncture treatment.

本试验采用简单随机方法进行试验分组，通过操作SPSS 26.0软件生成随机数字表，生成的随机数字表应确保随机且不重复，以防止任何偏差，将所观察的病例随机分为电针组49例和假电针组49例。

In this experiment, a simple randomization method was used for group assignment. SPSS 26.0 software generated a table of random, non-repetitive numbers to prevent bias. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups: 49 cases in the electroacupuncture group and 49 cases in the sham electroacupuncture group.
