研究目的：

（1）量化已构建园艺活动干预方案，对养老院衰弱老人实施园艺活动干预。 （2）评价园艺活动对养老院衰弱老年人躯体功能的影响，分析解释园艺活动带来的身体活动水平改变与躯体功能之间的关系。  

Objectives of Study：

(1)To quantify the horticultural activity interventional protocol which have already constructed for the frail elderly in nursing homes. (2)To evaluate the effects of horticultural activity interventional program on the physical functioning and analyze the relationship between changes in physical activity levels and physical function as a result of horticultural activities of the frail elderly in nursing homes.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

(1)年龄为60—85岁； (2)FRAIL-NH量表（FRAIL-NH)≥6分； (3)意识清晰，简易精神状态检查(Mini-Mental State Examination, MMSE)得分≥27分； (4)无视觉、听觉、言语表达障碍； (5)无严重的骨骼、肌肉系统疾病及各系统严重躯体疾患； (6)不使用辅助工具，能够独立行走，ADL评分≥41分； (7)知情同意，自愿参加本研究并签署知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

(1)Older adults were above 60 and below 85 years old; (2)FRAIL-NH score≥ 6 (3)Elderly who can exhibit intact cognitive functioning according to the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) over 27 points; (4)Had no visual, auditory, and verbal expression impairments. (5) No serious skeletal or muscular system diseases or serious physical illnesses in various systems; (6) Those old people can be transferred with no auxiliary tool and can be able to walk independently, with the score of ADL ≥41 points; (7) Participate in the study voluntarily and sign informed consent

排除标准：

(1)既往有精神疾病史或存在严重心理问题者； (2)6个月内进行骨关节手术，如髋关节、膝关节置换手术、脊柱手术等者； (3)既往有过敏史（花草过敏，哮喘等）患者； (4)在取得知情同意的前3个月内参加过类似干预活动（园艺活动、运动干预等等活动）者，或正在参加其他临床试验者。

Exclusion criteria：

(1)Individuals with a history of mental illness or serious psychological problems; (2)The presence of bone and joint surgery history within 6 months, such as hip, knee replacement, spine surgery and other lesions affecting limb function; (3)People with a history of allergies (allergy to flowers and plants, asthma); (4)Elderly who had participated in similar intervention activities (such as gardening activities, exercise interventions, etc.) within the three months before obtaining informed consent, or are participating in other clinical trials.

研究者采用简单随机抽样的方法，通过抽签的方式在郑州市两所规格、养老设施和活动类型相似的养老院中，随机选取一家作为干预组，另一家作为对照组。根据相同的纳入和排除标准，从两所养老院中选取符合条件的研究对象，分别组成干预组和对照组。

The researcher used a a simple random sampling method, drawing lots to randomly select one of two nursing homes in Zhengzhou, which are similar in terms of size, facilities, and types of activities, as the intervention group, while the other was designated as the control group. Based on identical inclusion and exclusion criteria, eligible study participants were selected from both nursing homes to form the intervention and control groups, respectively.

数据采集和管理（说明：数据采集和管理由两部分组成，一为病例记录表(Case Record Form, CRF)，二为电子采集和管理系统(Electronic Data Capture, EDC)，如ResMan即为一种基于互联网的EDC：

干预前依次对干预组及对照组老年人进行基本信息问卷调查及基线测量，并再在干预第2个月、干预第4个月和干预后即刻对研究对象进行中文版简易躯体功能评估工具、握力、30秒手臂弯举测试及心率测量，原始数据由纸质版进行记录，进行整理后形成电子版EXCEL表格。

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture：

Before the intervention, information of frail elderly were recorded by questionnaire and baseline measurement were conducted for the elderly both in the intervention group and the control group, then the Chinese Mini Physical Performance Test, Hand Grip Strength Test, 30-second Arm Curl Test and heart rate were evaluated of the elderly at three time points(after 2 months of intervention, after 4 months of intervention and after 6 months of intervention) during the whole intervention. The original data is in paper form, and then the paper statistical records form an electronic version, recorded in EXCEL.
