研究目的：

1、明确广西地区及中国西部地区MCI、痴呆及癫痫等老年神经系统疾病的患病率，构建大样本MCI、痴呆、癫痫队列，为探索MCI向痴呆及其他中枢神经系统退行性疾病转化的早期危险因素探索研究提供足够样本。 2、基于大样本队列，进行Aβ42、Aβ40等生物标志物的液体活检筛查，评估其对中国人群MCI、痴呆的诊断效能及MCI进展为痴呆的预测效能。 3、挖掘血液、尿液、唾液、呼出气、电生理指标中MCI、痴呆新的诊断生物标志物，以及正常人进展为MCI以及MCI进展为痴呆的预测生物标志物，结合受试者基本信息、神经心理学评估、认知功能评估信息、实验室检查等结果进行多维度数据融合分析，筛选对疾病敏感的指标进行疾病预测模型的构建，为疾病的一级预防提供研究证据。  

Objectives of Study：

1. To determine the prevalence of MCI, dementia, epilepsy and other neurological diseases in the elderly in Guangxi and western China region, and to construct a large sample cohort of MCI, dementia and epilepsy, so as to provide sufficient samples for exploring the early risk factors for the transformation of MCI to dementia and other degenerative diseases of the central nervous system. 2. Based on the large sample cohort, liquid biopsy screening of Aβ42, Aβ40 and other biomarkers will be performed to evaluate their diagnostic efficacy in MCI and dementia and predicting the progression of MCI to dementia in the Chinese population. 3. To explore new diagnostic and progression biomarkers of MCI and dementia in blood, urine, saliva, exhaled breath, and electrophysiological indexes, and to analyze the results of multi-dimensional data fusion by combining the basic information of subjects, neuropsychological assessment, cognitive function assessment, and laboratory tests, to screen disease-sensitive indexes and construct a prediction model for the diseases. The construction of prediction model will provide research evidence for the primary prevention of the disease.

纳入标准：

研究纳入中国西部地区前瞻性自然人群队列，以及北海市60岁以上的老年人群。

Inclusion criteria

The study included a prospective naturalistic population cohort from western China and an elderly population aged 60 years or older in Beihai City.

排除标准：

耳聋、偏瘫、失明患者因无法配合故予排除。此外，为了更好地获得随访结果，独居老人、患恶性肿瘤以及重大慢性疾病（如严重的心脏功能不全、肺功能不全、肝功能不全）预期寿命不超过5年的患者也从该队列中进行排除。

Exclusion criteria：

Deaf, hemiplegic, and blind patients were excluded because they were unable to cooperate. In addition, patients living alone, with malignant tumors, and with major chronic diseases (e.g., severe cardiac insufficiency, pulmonary insufficiency, and hepatic insufficiency) with a life expectancy of no more than 5 years were excluded from the cohort for better follow-up results.
