研究目的：

近年来，术后住院时间作为评估手术后恢复和康复情况的一个重要指标，引起了广泛的关注。食管癌术后住院时间延长是否影响患者的远期生存，需要进一步的评估。本文旨在回顾并探讨有关食管癌术后住院时间延长对患者远期生存影响的研究。  

Objectives of Study：

In recent years, length of stay (LOS) has gained attention as a crucial measure of postoperative recovery and rehabilitation. However, the effect of LOS on long-term survival after esophagectomy has not yet been adequately studied.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

病理学明确为食管鳞癌或腺癌（病理分期依据UICC第八版TNM分期）；手术方式为微创食管切除术（McKeow或Ivor Lewis）或食管开放手术（open esophagectomy）；患者年龄18-80岁； Performance status of 0 or 1；心肺功能良好，美国麻醉评分（ASA）<4。

Inclusion criteria

Confirmed pathology of esophageal squamous carcinoma or adenocarcinoma (pathological staging based on the eighth edition of UICC TNM staging), undergoing minimally invasive esophagectomy (McKeown or Ivor Lewis) or open esophagectomy, age between 18 and 80 years, performance status of 0 or 1, and good cardio-pulmonary function as indicated by an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score of less than 4.

排除标准：

随访资料不全或矢访；合并其它原发性恶性肿瘤病史；术前接受新辅助治疗；肿瘤侵犯临近器官；远处转移。

Exclusion criteria：

Incomplete follow-up data or loss to follow-up, a history of other primary malignant tumors, neoadjuvant therapy prior to surgery, tumor invasion into nearby organs, and distant metastasis.
