研究目的：

本研究旨在为基层医务人员制定一个MBAT培训方案，并确定针对基层医务人员管理农村老年人抑郁症状的MBAT培训方案的可行性、可接受性和有效性。  

Objectives of Study：

This project aims to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness of the MBAT training program for primary medical staff to manage depressive symptoms among rural elderly.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

纳入标准：

基层医务人员纳入标准为： (i)年龄在18岁以上；（ii）负责在样本地点工作的老年人的保健服务；（iii）从事六家或以上单一乡镇医院的初级医疗工作；(ⅳ)从未参加过相关的系统心理培训；(v)自愿参加本项目。 农村老年人纳入标准为：(i)60岁以上；（ii）老年抑郁量表得分在11-25分之间；（iii）没有危及生命或预期严重限制参与研究的疾病；(ⅳ)目前没有接受认知行为治疗、心理治疗及抗抑郁药物治疗。

Inclusion criteria

The inclusion criteria for grassroots medical personnel are: (i) aged 18 and above; (ii) Responsible for providing healthcare services for elderly people working in sample locations; (iii) Engaged in primary medical work in six or more single township hospitals; (iv) Have never participated in relevant systematic psychological training; (v) Volunteer to participate in this project. The inclusion criteria for rural elderly are: (i) over 60 years old; (ii) The score of the Elderly Depression Scale is between 11 and 25 points; (iii) There are no life-threatening or severely restricted diseases expected to participate in the study; (iv) At present, they have not received cognitive Behaviour therapy, psychotherapy and antidepressant drugs.

排除标准：

基层医务人员排除标准为：患有精神疾病。 农村老年人排除标准为：患有认知功能障碍（MMSE量表得分<27分）或沟通障碍的农村老年人。

Exclusion criteria：

The exclusion criteria for grassroots medical personnel are: suffering from mental illness. The exclusion criteria for rural elderly were: rural elderly with cognitive dysfunction (MMSE score<27) or Communication disorder.

冷水江市有10家乡镇医院，涟源市有21家。我们将结合这两个城市的人口分布与初级服务资源，利用随机数产生网站分别从冷水江市和涟源市随机抽取4家和10家乡镇医院。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method)：

There are 10 township hospitals in Lengshuijiang City and 21 in Lianyuan. Combining the population distribution and primary service resources of these two cities, we will use the random number generation website to randomly select 4 and 10 township hospitals from Lengshuijiang City and Lianyuan, respectively.

盲法：

参与者无法对干预措施未知。除了数据收集和分析过程外，被分配的研究人员和统计学人员将不会参与该研究，而且他们将对分组分配进行盲法。基层医务人员将被单独告知干预措施的性质，但彼此对分配情况未知。同时，经过训练的评估者对参与者的情况未知。

Blinding：

For individual participants, they will not be blind to the intervention they will receive. The assigned researchers and statisticians will not participate in the program except for the process of data collection and analysis, and they will be blinded regarding group assignments. The primary medical staff will be informed individually about the nature of the intervention but unclear about each other's distribution. Meanwhile, the trained evaluators will be blind to the nature of the participants.
