研究目的:

1.探究人工智能回答骨科学基础理论知识考题的准确性; 2.进行本科医学生使用ChatGPT作为辅助学习工具学习骨科学的可行性研究; 3.体验了ChatGPT辅助学习模式后是否会影响并改变学生的学习方式。  

Objectives of Study:

1. Explore the accuracy of artificial intelligence in answering questions on basic theoretical knowledge of bone science; 2. Conduct a feasibility study on the use of ChatGPT as an auxiliary learning tool for undergraduate medical students to learn bone science; 3. Whether the ChatGPT assisted learning mode will affect and change students' learning style.

纳入标准:

高年级医学生是本研究的合格参与者。 在进入随机对照试验之前,他们必须完成或者正在学习以下基础课程:(1)人体解剖学,(2)生理学,(3)生物化学,(4)病理学,(5)病理生理学,(6)诊断,(7) 内科学(8)外科学,(9)妇科学,(10)儿科学,(11)耳鼻喉,(12)传染病学,(13)放射学,(14) 预防医学。

Inclusion criteria

Senior medical students were eligible participants in this study. Before entering the randomized controlled trial, they must have completed or are currently studying the following basic courses: (1) Human anatomy, (2) physiology, (3) Biochemistry, (4) pathology, (5) pathophysiology, (6) Diagnosis, (7) Internal medicine (8) surgery, (9) gynecology, (10) Pediatrics, (11) otolaryngology, (12) Infectious diseases, (13) Radiology, (14) Preventive Medicine.

排除标准:

(1)在之前学年已经结束的人体解剖学,生理学,生物化学,病理学,病理生理学,诊断六门课程中,期末考核出现不及格。 (2)在该学年中出现转专业、休学和退学。 (3)因为个人原因不愿意参加或中途退出o (4)未能完成考核前进行的300道骨科基础理论习题。 (5)被分配至“互联网辅助学习组”的参与者在研究过程中使用Open AI相关的软件或者应用。

Exclusion criteria:

(1) Failed in the final examination of the six courses of human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, Pathology, pathophysiology and diagnosis that have ended in the previous academic year. (2) Change of major, suspension or withdrawal during the academic year. (3) Because of personal reasons, do not want to participate in or quit (4) Failed to complete 300 exercises of basic theories of orthopedics before the examination. (5) Participants assigned to the "Internet-assisted learning group" used Open AI-related software or applications during the study.

将写着“互联网辅助学习组”、“ChatGPT辅助学习组”的小纸条各20张放入外观相同的信封并密封,将信封交给研究小组之外的一名老师储存保管,并且在参与者完成300道骨科基础理论习题后抽取其中一个信封,根据抽取结果告知其辅助学习方案。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method):

Twenty pieces of paper with the names "Internet Assisted Learning Group" and "ChatGPT Assisted Learning Group" were put into envelopes with the same appearance and sealed. The envelopes were given to a teacher outside the research group for storage. One of the envelopes was extracted after the participants completed 300 exercises on basic theory of orthopedics, and the participants were informed of the assisted learning plan according to the extracted results.

盲法:

对于本实验中指导完成“300道骨科基础理论习题”的老师甲、乙和参与后续完成辅助学习后“100道骨科基础理论习题”考试成绩检录的老师丙、丁以及随访过程中记录参与者期末考核成绩的老师丙、丁进行盲法,降低相关实验人员对干预措施有效性的期望。由于参与者需要清楚自身辅助学习工具,因此无法对参与者实行盲法。

Blinding:

Teachers A and B, who guided the completion of "300 exercises on basic theory of orthopedics" in this experiment, teachers C and D, who participated in the examination scores of "100 exercises on basic theory of orthopedics" after completing the follow-up assisted learning, and teachers C and D, who recorded the final assessment scores of participants during the follow-up, were blinded to reduce the expectations of relevant experimenter on the effectiveness of intervention measures. Since participants need to be aware of their own learning AIDS, they cannot be blinded.

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture:

Data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 (SPSS, Chicago, Illisnois, USA) software package. Differences in the objective and semi-objective measurements between the two groups were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test for non-parametric data. The level of agreement between the semi-objective assessments made by the two experts was estimated by Cohen’s K co-efficient. P < 0.05 was considered significant.
