研究目的：

熱塑性封閉面罩通常用於固定接受顱腦放射治療患者的位置，以限制他/她們在輻射治療期間的移動，利用輻射準確破壞腫瘤。許多患者認為這些封閉式面罩不舒服，甚至讓那些患有幽閉恐懼症的人無法忍受。此外，這些封閉式面罩提供的可見面部區域可能不足以在治療期間對頭部移動進行準確的體表成像追踪。最近的研究證實了在體表成像追踪下從封閉式面罩遷移到開放式面罩的可行性。然而，尚未有全面研究來比較這兩種面罩在固定和表面追踪能力的性能。因此，此研究將收集這兩種面罩在固定和體表成像追踪的表現，以找出最適合用於立體定向放射治療 (SRT) 和立體定向放射外科 (SRS) 的固定面罩。  

Objectives of Study：

Patients receiving cranial radiotherapy are routinely immobilized with thermoplastic close-face masks to restrict motion during treatment such that the tumor can be irradiated accurately. These close-face masks are uncomfortable for many patients, and even intolerable for those suffering from claustrophobia. Also, the visible facial area under these close-face masks might not be sufficient for accurate surface tracking of head motion during treatment. Recent studies confirmed the feasibility of migrating from close-face masks to open-face masks under real-time surface tracking. However, no comprehensive study had been conducted to compare the performance of these two masks in terms of immobilization and surface tracking capability. Therefore, intra-fractional motion under these two types of masks will be collected to determine the optimal immobilization for stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
