Objectives of Study: |
This study aimed to develop a novel deep learning framework that integrate multiple state-of-the-art computational methods for PJI diagnosis and generate the disease probability maps for PJI and aseptic failure (AF) that can then be used for deriving the radiographic regions of potential sensitivity in PJI and AF. |

Inclusion criteria |
Retrospective inclusion of patients undergoing hip or knee revision surgery in the joint group of our department from January 2008 to January 2022; |

排除标准: |
急性假体周围感染(PJI,发生在距关节置换术后<3个月)或有急性血源性PJI,病例在实验室或放射学评估前2周内接受了抗生素治疗,对其关节进行了任何再手术(如拆除假体并放置垫片),假体是肿瘤重建的一部分,假体植入是为了治疗急性骨折,临床诊断和MSIS标准不一致,或临床诊断最终不明确,被排除在外。 |

Exclusion criteria: |
Cases classified as PJI who had acute PJI (occurring <3 months from the index arthroplasty), had acute hematogenous PJI, received antibiotic administration within 2 weeks before laboratory or radiography evaluation, underwent any reoperation on their joint (e.g., removal of the prosthesis and placement of a cement mold infused with antibiotic spacer), the prosthesis was part of an oncologic reconstruction, the prosthesis was implanted to treat an acute fracture, with discordant clinical and MSIS criteria, or the clinical diagnosis was ultimately ambiguous were excluded from the study. |
