研究目的：

(1) 社区服务模式下的牙周干预策略对2型糖尿病患者牙周局部炎症控制，血糖、血脂代谢水平，以及机体炎症状态的影响; (2) 比较两种牙周维护方法（预防性龈上洁治vs龈下刮治）对伴2型糖尿病牙周炎患者的疗效  

Objectives of Study：

(1) to evaluate effects of non-surgical periodontal treatment on clinical response, metabolic control (including glycemic and lipid metabolism) and systemic inflammatory level in patients with type 2 diabetes; (2) to explore effectiveness of supragingival prophylaxis vs that of subgingival debridement for supportive periodontal care following the treatment of chronic periodontitis in type 2 diabetes.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

ⅰ糖尿病确诊1年以上，糖尿病病情稳定，用药2月内无变化，无严重并发症；
ⅱ患有慢性牙周炎，全口存留≥16颗牙齿。

Inclusion criteria

1. diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus (Engebretson et al., 2007) for more than 1 year with no change in diabetic treatment plan in the past 2 months, and without major diabetic complications such as coronary heart disease;2. with a clinical diagnosis of chronic periodontitis according to the criteria of the American Academy of Periodontology (Wiebe and Putnins, 2000), with presence of ≥16 teeth in the mouth.

排除标准：

ⅰ患有影响牙周健康的其他系统性疾病，如冠心病等；
ⅱ除牙周炎外，身体其他部位存在活动性炎症；一年内接受过牙周治疗
ⅲ3个月内服用抗生素；
ⅳ妊娠期、哺乳期或治疗期间计划怀孕；
ⅴ拒绝参加本研究。

Exclusion criteria：

1. presence of systemic diseases other than DM that influence the course of periodontal disease;
2. active infection other than periodontitis or received periodontal treatment in the previous 12 months;
3. systemic antibiotic administration within the latest 3 months;
3. pregnancy or lactation;
5. refusal of informed consent.
