纳入标准：

青少年：
(1)7至12年級;
(2)可參與校外活動；
(3)能以中文或台灣話與年長者溝通
年長者：
(1)55歲以上診斷失智症者；
(2)年長者及家屬同意者

Inclusion criteria

Adolescent:
1. Grade 7th to 12th;
2. consent not given by school or parents to participate in off-campus services;
3. inability to communicate in Chinese or Taiwanese.
Older adult:
1. aged 55 years or above, and having cognitive impairment; (2)older adult and their family agree to participate in the study

排除标准：

青少年：
育幼院青少年;
年長者：
(1)早發性或重度失智症；
(2)手部無法自由移動。

Exclusion criteria：

Adolescent:
(1) orphaned;
Older adult:
(1)Early stage or moderately severe dementia;
(2)hands cannot move freely.

青少年依照年長者共同的興趣、個人特質及熟悉的語言，一對一或一對二分配給與學校鄰近的日間照顧中心之年長者，並分派至4個實驗組及1個控制組。

The adolescents in the four experimental groups were assigned to 15 day care centers close to their schools.On entering their assigned day care centers, the adolescents were assigned one-to-one or one-to-two with older adult subjects in accordance with their spoken languages and personality.
