研究目的：

比较咬上唇试验(upperlipbitetest，ULBT)和改良Mallampati气道评估方法，探讨 ULBT在预测国人困难气道插管程度的可行性 。  

Objectives of Study：

To compare preoperative anesthetic airway evaluation methods of the modified Mallamapti test and Upper Lip bite test (ULBT)and to discuss the feasibility of Upper lip bite test on airway assessment．

纳入标准：

包括了根据美国麻醉学家协会(ASA)的I-III级计划，在需要气管插管的全麻下进行择期手术的18-75岁的成年患者。

Inclusion criteria

Those included were adult patients classified as American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III planned for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation whose age is between 18 and 75 old years.

排除标准：

排除了张口受限、有烧伤或气道损伤史、不能直立或坐立、无牙、颈部或面部肿块、颈部活动受限(如类风湿性关节炎和颈椎间盘疾病)、妊娠、胃食管反流病、病态肥胖、禁食不全或需要快速序贯诱导的患者，或那些需要常规喉镜以外的插管方法，如纤维喉镜插管和紧急手术的患者。

Exclusion criteria：

Patients who had limited mouth opening, past record of burns or airway injury, inability to stand erect or sit, edentulous, tumour or mass in cervical, facial regions, limited cervical movement, like rheumatoid arthritis and cervical disc disorders, pregnancy, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, morbid obesity, incomplete fasting or requiring rapid sequence induction, or those requiring intubation method other than conventional laryngoscopy, like fibre-optic intubation, and emergency surgeries were excluded.

金标准或参考标准（即可准确诊断某疾病的单项方法或多项联合方法，在本研究中用于诊断是否有该病的临床参考标准）：

初步喉镜检查所见结构按CL分级进行分类，未作任何喉外操作。这些发现被记录在形式表上，分为I级到4级。1级表示声门完全可见；2级表示声门部分可见，前连合没有显示；3级表示除了会厌外没有其他结构可见；4级表示没有结构可见，意味着会厌没有显示。I-II级被记录为容易喉镜检查，而III-IV级被标记为难喉镜检查。

The structures found in the initial laryngoscopy were classified according to the CL grade, and no extralarynx operations were performed.
