研究目的：

通过开展不同时机口服抗生素辅助机械治疗伴有2型糖尿病的慢性牙周炎（type 2 diabetes mellitus with chronic periodontitis，DMCP）的前瞻性单盲随机对照临床研究，为伴有2型糖尿病的慢性牙周炎患者牙周基础治疗中全身应用抗生素的选择、用药时机和临床效果的评价提供医学依据。  

Objectives of Study：

A prospective, single-blind, randomized controlled clinical trial of oral antibiotics-assisted mechanical therapy for chronic periodontitis with type 2 diabetes mellitus at different times was conducted to provide medical evidence for the selection of systemic antibiotics, the timing of antibiotics use and the evaluation of clinical efficacy in the basic periodontal treatment of patients with DMCP.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

① 慢性牙周炎：参照1999国际牙周病新分类法及Page等推荐的诊断标准，诊断为中度或重度慢性牙周炎；口内余留牙不少于16颗(不包括第三磨牙)，至少有4个牙齿的牙周袋深度≥5 mm，附着丧失≥4 mm。
② 2型糖尿病：参照1999年WHO糖尿病诊断标准诊断为2型糖尿病；病程至少1年以上；GHbAlc≤11.00％，病情稳定，无严重糖尿病心血管并发症和其他系统性疾病；近期用药、饮食和运动习惯均无改变。

Inclusion criteria

(1) Chronic periodontitis (CP): According to the new international classification of periodontal diseases in 1999 and Page's recommended diagnostic criteria, the diagnosis was moderate or severe CP. There were not less than 16 residual teeth (excluding the third molar), at least 4 teeth with periodontal pocket depth (>5 mm) and attachment loss (>4 mm).
(2) Type 2 diabetes mellitus: according to the WHO diagnostic criteria for diabetes in 1999, type 2 diabetes mellitus was diagnosed; the course of disease was at least one year; GHbAlc was less than 11.00%, stable, without serious cardiovascular complications and other systemic diseases of diabetes mellitus; there was no change in recent medication, diet and exercise habits.

排除标准：

① 6个月内有抗生素、非甾体类抗炎药或激素类药物治疗史；
② 6个月内有牙周治疗史或内外科手术史；
③ 患有除糖尿病以外的系统性疾病，如心血管疾病、类风湿病、心内膜炎、肾病综合症、恶性肿瘤等；
④ 妊娠或哺乳期妇女；
⑤ 全身状况较差，不能接受牙周检查和（或）治疗者；
⑥ 吸烟者；
⑦ 不能按期复诊者。

Exclusion criteria：

(1) There was a history of antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or hormone drugs in 6 months;
(2) There was a history of periodontal treatment or surgical operation within 6 months;
(3) Systemic diseases other than diabetes, such as cardiovascular diseases, rheumatoid diseases, endocarditis, nephrotic syndrome, malignant tumors, etc.;
(4) Pregnant or lactating women;
(5) The general condition is poor and the patients can not accept periodontal examination and/or treatment.
(6) Smokers;
(7) Those who cannot return on schedule.
