研究目标是初步评价痴呆患者家属照顾者自我管理项目的有效性。  

Objectives of Study：

The aim of this study is to preliminarily examine the effectiveness of a Caregiving Self-Management Support Programme for Dementia Carers.

纳入标准：

纳入标准为承担主要照顾职能的痴呆患者的家属照顾者、且患者符合DSM-V诊断标准

Inclusion criteria

The principal caregiver who is the family caregiver of relatives with diagnosed dementia according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-V).

排除标准：

排除标准包括：1）家属照顾者年龄小于18岁；2）家属照顾者并非痴呆患者的主要照顾者；3）家属照顾者患有严重的精神障碍和躯体疾病（如恶性肿瘤、急慢性感染、严重肝肾功能不全自身免疫性疾病等）预计无法完成本研究和照顾患者的工作；或4）家属照顾者同时作为主要照顾者照顾其他患有慢性疾病的家人或照顾家人中的孙辈。

Exclusion criteria：

1. caregivers who were below 18 years of age;
2. family caregivers who did not involved in major health care, decision-making and care of relatives with dementia;
3. caregiver who currently were suffering from sever mental disorders and/or physical disorders that was expected to be unable to complete the trial and/or to undertake care as the principle caregiver; or
4. caregiver who simultaneously provided major care for another family member with a chronic medical condition or for a grandchild.
