Objectives of Study：

A cohort study on the amount of cigarette smoking and the risk of newly developing diabetes among elderly people in Tianjin Binhai New Aera.

纳入标准：

1.未患糖尿病；
2.年龄：60-100岁，男性或女性；
3.自愿参加并签知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

1. People without diabetes;
2. Aged 60-100 years old,Men or Women;
3. Voluntarily participating in our study and signing of informed consent.

排除标准：

1.糖尿病患者；
2.服用降糖药物者；
3.患有其他严重疾病者；
4.不能遵守研究方案的受试者。

Exclusion criteria：

1. People with diabetes;
2. People who use glocose-lowing medications;
3. Suffering from other serious disease;
4. People who might not follow this program.
