Objectives of Study：

This study was thus designed to understand the association between the PPARδ-87T>C single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and CRC risk in a Chinese Han population.

纳入标准：

所有入选病例纳入标准包括：四川大学华西医院胃肠外科研究所结直肠癌患者（行手术切除的原发性结直肠癌，均经组织病理确诊），西南地区汉族人群；无血缘关系。

Inclusion criteria

the Institute of Digestive Surgery & Gastrointestinal Surgery at West China Hospital, affiliated with Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, from January to June 2021.Patient inclusion criteria for this study were as follows: (1) patients with surgical resected were histologically diagnosed with primary CRC, and (2) patients without had blood relationship among Han population in southwest.

排除标准：

排除标准包括：术前行放化疗；长期服用非甾体类消炎药物史；临床资料不完整者；家族性腺瘤性息肉病及遗传性非息肉性结直肠癌；既往患其它癌的患者；一级亲属患结直肠癌的患者。

Exclusion criteria：

In the end, patients were excluded from this analysis, including with preoperative radiotherapy or chemotherapy, with history of long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,with incomplete clinicopathological data, with a history of other forms of cancer, and with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) or hereditary nonpolyposis CRC.

数据采集和管理（说明：数据采集和管理由两部分组成，一为病例记录表(Case Record Form, CRF)，二为电子采集和管理系统(Electronic Data Capture, EDC)，如ResMan即为一种基于互联网的EDC：

研究者根据实验的原始观察记录，将数据及时、完整、正确、清晰地载入病例对照研究表，录入采用相应的数据库系统双人双机录入，之后对数据库进行两遍比对，电子数据文件分类保存，并有多个备份保存于不同磁盘或记录介质上，妥善保存，防止破坏。

Data collection and Management:According to the original observation records of the samples, the researchers load the data into the case-control form in a timely, complete, correct and clear manner, and input the data into the corresponding database system with two persons and two computers. After that, the database is compared twice, and the electronic data files are classified and saved, and multiple backups are saved on different disks or recording media, which are properly preserved to prevent damage.
