Objectives of Study：

To prospectively investigate the incidence and risk factors of post-operative urinary retention after total joint arthroplasty, and evaluate the predictive value of pre-operative urine flow rate of post-operative urinary retention.

纳入标准：

连续纳入本中心行初次单侧髋膝关节置换的患者

Inclusion criteria

All consecutive patients undergoing primary, unilateral total hip or total knee arthroplasty

排除标准：

1、双侧或翻修患者
2、术前或术中需留置导尿者

Exclusion criteria：

1. patients undergoing either bilateral or revision total hip/knee arthroplasty
2. patients necessitating pre-operative or intra-operative use of catheter
