研究目的：

本研究的目的是研究与健康儿童相比，腺扁桃体肥大的儿童上颌黏膜改变的情况。  

Objectives of Study：

The objective of this study was to investigate alternation of mucosa of maxillary in children with OSA by ATH in comparison to healthy children.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

纳入标准：

这项研究中的腺扁桃体肥大的儿童受试者的纳入标准包括：（1）0-18岁； （2）男女不限； （3）腺扁桃体肥大； （4）有阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停的证据（根据美国儿科学会的《儿童阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停综合症的诊断和治疗指南》；（5）至少1个月的症状过程。
本研究中非腺扁桃体肥大的儿童的纳入标准包括：（1）无腺扁桃体病史；（2）上呼吸道无感染。

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria of Adenotonsillar hypertrophy pediatric subjects in this study included: (1) 0-18 years in age; (2) both genders; (3) Pathology of adenotonsillar hypertrophy; (4) have evidence of obstructive sleep apnea( according to the Guideline on Diagnosis and Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome in Children by American Academy of Pediatrics; (5) at least 1 month course of symptoms.
Inclusion criteria of non-ATH pediatric subjects in this study included: (1) no history of adenotonsillar problems;(2) no infections in upper airway.

排除标准：

研究对象的排除标准包括：（1）中耳炎病史，急性支气管肺病，全身性炎症，结核病，上呼吸道感染，鼻窦炎，高血压，免疫缺陷，甲状腺功能亢进，神经肌肉疾病，过敏性鼻窦炎 在过去6个月内，心脏衰竭，营养不良，颅面综合征，支气管哮喘，颅神经麻痹，头部受伤，喉咽反流，牙齿疾病； （2）其他原因的阻塞性呼吸睡眠暂停。

Exclusion criteria：

Exclusion criteria of recruited subjects of the study included any subjects that: (1) a history of otitis media, acute bronchopulmonary disease, systemic inflammation, tuberculosis, infection of upper airway, sinusitis, hypertension, immunodeficiency, hyperthyroidism, neuromuscular disorders cancer, allergy sinusitis, heart failure, malnutrition, craniofacial syndromes, bronchial asthma, cranial nerve palsies, head injury, laryngopharyngeal reflux, dental disease, during the past 6 months; (2) OSA due to the other reasons.
