研究目的：

本研究的主要目的是确定在工作记忆任务中，以经济奖励形式出现的外在动机对精神疲劳和相应的脑电图（EEG）神经信号（Theta和Alpha）、任务表现、主观评分的影响。次要目的是确定上述经济奖励对精神疲劳和其他结果的影响是否在任务难度和年龄组差异上存在区别。  

Objectives of Study：

1) To determine the effects of extrinsic motivation in the form of financial reward on EEG neural signals corresponding to mental fatigue (Theta and Alpha), task performance, and subjectively perceived fatigue during working memory tasks; 2) to determine whether the effects of the financial rewards mentioned above on mental fatigue and other outcomes differed by task difficulty and age group.

纳入标准：

纳入标准:(1)年龄20-79岁；(2)健康状况良好；(3)识字(能够识别拉丁字母)；(4) 同意并签署知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) age 20-79 years; (2) good health; (3) literacy (ability to recognize letters from Latin alphabet); (4) agreed to participate and signed the informed consent form.

排除标准：

排除标准:(1)神经或精神障碍史；(2)创伤性脑损伤史；(3)心血管疾病 ；(4)药物滥用史;(5)检测前24小时内服用咖啡因、酒精或药物的;(6)未矫正的视力障碍。

Exclusion criteria：

Exclusion criteria: (1) history of neurological or mental disorders; (2) history of traumatic brain injury; (3) cardiovascular disease; (4) history of substance abuse; (5)intake of caffeine, alcohol or drugs within 24 hours before the test; (6) uncorrected visual impairment.

Stratified block randomization (allocation ratio 1:1) . Strata are three different age groups (20-39 vs 40-59 vs 60-79 years). Each block assignment sequence will be randomly generated by an independent researcher using a computer. Block sizes will also be permuted ranging from 6 to 10.
