研究目的：

本多中心研究的主要目的在于进行口服碳水化合物饮料和清亮液体对与接受了硬膜外分娩镇痛产妇剖宫产几率的影响比较。 同时对其他母婴结局(如产程时长，产钳使用几率，母婴产后血糖等)进行研究。  

Objectives of Study：

The purpose of this multicenter trial was to compare the impact of carbohydrate drink versus clear liquid drink on the incidence of cesarean delivery in laboring women with epidural analgesia. And other maternal-fetal outcomes (duration of labor, incidence of forceps delivery, maternal-neonatal blood glucose after delivery, etc.)

口服碳水化合物补充剂

carbohydrate drink 

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1. 年龄<18岁或者>34岁；
2. 合并糖尿病或者妊娠期糖尿病；
3. 产前B超怀疑胎儿存在异常；
4. 存在硬膜外分娩镇痛禁忌症，这其中包括中枢神经系统疾病病史、脊柱疾病病史、系统性感染（如败血症）、穿刺部位有皮肤/软组织感染、凝血功能异常及其它可能的由麻醉科医生判定的不适于行分娩镇痛的情况；
5. 其他不适于参加实验的情况。

Exclusion criteria：

1.Aged < 18 or > 34 years.
2.Comorbid diabetes mellitus or gestational diabetes mellitus.
3.Suspected fetal abnormalities by prenatal ultrasonography.
4.Presence of contraindications to epidural analgesia (including history of infectious disease of the central nervous system, history of spinal or intraspinal disease, systemic infection, skin or soft tissue infection at the site of puncture, and coagulopathy).
5.Other conditions that were considered unsuitable for study participation.

After initiating epidural labor analgesia, parturients in the carbohydrate drink group were provided with an oral carbohydrate-rich solution (Outfast: 285 mOsm/kg, 14.2% carbohydrate, 0.58 kcal/ml; Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co, Ltd, Hubei, China) and were advised to drink as will during labor.

After initiating epidural labor analgesia, Parturients in the clear liquid drink group were advised to intake commercial sports drinks as will (Pocarisweat: 0.26 kcal/ml, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, Tokyo, Japan; Gatorade, 0.24 kcal/ml, PepsiCo, Chicago, IL, USA; or Mizone: 0.21 kcal/ml, Danone, Guangzhou, Guangdong.
